Selema Camping

Located in Santa Lucia, within the municipality of Siniscola (NU), Camping Selema is nestled in a lush pine forest and faces the renowned beach of Santa Lucia. The campsite spans over 3 hectares, right by a nearly 4 km sandy shoreline, and is only a short walk from the charming and scenic fishing village of Santa Lucia di Siniscola, along Sardinia’s northeastern coast.

Location
Just 50 minutes from the port of Olbia and the Olbia-Costa Smeralda airport, Camping Selema is an ideal choice for those looking to explore the beauty of central Sardinia. With Nuoro 55 km away and Orosei at 30 km, the campsite serves as a perfect base to discover authentic villages, historical monuments, and the captivating natural landscapes of this unique island. Selema Camping is situated within the UNESCO MAB Environmental Reserve of Monte Albo and the Tepilora – Rio Posada Natural Park.

Dream Beach
Accessible via a convenient path through the pine forest, the beach offers a broad stretch of white sand. Here, guests can relax and enjoy a completely open beach, perfect for those seeking tranquility and a closer connection with nature. Alternatively, just steps from the campsite exit, there is an equipped beach area (privately managed) with umbrellas and sun loungers, available for reservation at the establishment.

Swimming Pool and Relaxation
Selema Camping features a pool for adults and a smaller pool for children, set in a spacious park area equipped with loungers, deck chairs, and umbrellas (free, subject to availability). This area is ideal for unwinding after a day at the beach or exploring the many nearby attractions. The pools will remain open throughout the campsite’s operating season.

Activities and Adventure
At Selema Camping, guests have access to a soccer field and children’s play areas (located near the terrace/bar, at the pool, and other designated spots). Paddle tennis courts are also available for an additional fee. Electric bicycles can be rented at the reception.

Selema Camping is the perfect base for adventure and outdoor activities. The entire campsite area can be explored by bike, and numerous nearby routes feature dedicated bike paths. Many options await, including mountain biking, trekking and nature trail excursions, canoeing, fishing, climbing, and paragliding. Daily mini-cruises also depart from and return to the La Caletta marina (4 km away), offering tours of the beaches and cliffs of the Gulf of Orosei.

For water sports enthusiasts, the campsite is partnered with facilities that offer surfing and kiteboarding schools, scuba diving, and snorkeling. An Adventure Park is located just 300 meters away along the road to the village of Santa Lucia. In La Caletta (4 km), guests can also rent dinghies and enjoy fishing trips with local fishermen.

Located in the heart of an area rich in history and culture, the campsite allows guests to visit unmissable attractions like Monte Ortobene in Nuoro, the Ethnographic Museum, the Museum of Modern Art, and the Archaeological Museum, all in Nuoro. Camping Selema offers various services, including a small market, a coin-operated laundry, barbecue areas, an internet point, and free Wi-Fi in common areas.

Useful Information
The circulation of cars and motorcycles is allowed only for loading and unloading luggage; thereafter, vehicles must be parked in the designated parking areas. Quiet hours are observed from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. to ensure a peaceful environment within the campsite.

Dogs (max. 35 kg)
Dogs are allowed upon request and for an additional fee. The cost for a dog is €8.00 per day or €50.00 per week, with a €20.00 cleaning fee payable on-site. A dedicated dog beach is available approximately 4 km from the campsite (in La Caletta). It is recommended to review the campsite’s regulations and the current regional or national rules regarding pets.
